Last Minute Dot Com announces a couple of reduced price places on our Open Bus Three Peaks Challenge, 4th & 5th June 2011. Usually £329 per place, we are offering the last few places at £200 per person.

We can pick you up in the north-west (or leave your car and collect later), we will transport you, feed you, guide you, and encourage you.

You just need to pay for any accommodation if required.

A brand new event for 2012..!

We've been trying to find an intermediate mountain challenge event somewhere between the Yorkshire Three Peaks - and national Three Peaks Challenges, in terms of fitness, endurance, team size, and of course - cost. We are all too aware that entry fees, accommodation, and fuel costs are becoming very restrictive for people hoping to attempt the national challenge over the next couple of years.

So - we've created the Scottish Three Peaks Challenge.

Open to teams of 4 (1 driver, three climbers) this challenge has a Full Course and Short Course option. Teams will attempt rotes around Merrick, Ben Lomond and Ben Nevis, with a total drive of 200 miles. Entry fees £160 - £200 per team.

Event News

According to the latest weather reports, it looks like the weekend may be hot and sunny..! This means dehydration can be a problem for those not carrying or drinking enough fluids.

We do have limited water available at some safety checkpoints, but teams should remember they are expected to be fully self-sufficient on our challenge events.

However, it's still prudent to carry some cash, and perhaps make use of the Inns, pubs, and catering van en-route..!
