Three Peaks Challenge Training Days
Wasdale & Scafell Pike (26-27 March 2011)
Are you planning a Three Peaks Challenge for 2011? Are you taking part in a charity challenge? Have you been tasked to organise a 3 Peaks event?
This is a Facebook Event..! Our 2010 Training Days have been and gone, but we have organised our 2011 events at Wasdale for 26th and 27th March 2011. You can secure your place on either (or both) of the training days by entering online now: Three Peaks Challenge Training 2011 Online Entries
.
Each year, Merseyventure organise a selection of Training Events for people taking part in the Three Peaks, either with ourselves, with a charity, or self-organised. These events are hugely popular, and are nearly always fully subscribed. For Team Leaders taking part in our challenge events, attendence on these courses is free.
The only cost is any additional transport, and any accommodation. Other Team members can attend at half price.
However, the vast bulk of participants are people taking part in their own challenges, or charity organised challenges. This is a great opportunity to see exactly what you will be undertaking on your Three Peaks, what mountain fitness is required, what kit is required, how you will cope with self-navigation, how long it may take you, and what local facilities are available.
All of our instructors taking part in our training events will have undertaken many Three Peaks Challenges, and can offer priceless advice regarding any aspect of the challenge - from planning to delivery, from fitness to safety, and from navigation to first aid and mountain rescue.
